The objective of the Stormwater Management and Urban Resilience Project for Benin is to reduce flood risk in selected areas of Cotonou, and to strengthen urban resilience management and capacity at the city level. The project has three components, the first being investment in stormwater drainage and community engagement for flood risk reduction and climate change adaptation. The second component is strengthening urban resilience management and capacity, and the third component is project management, monitoring and evaluation. The overall objective of this component is to ensure the effective implementation of the project, such as management, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the project.
